Ajit Sinha is professor of economics at the Thapar School of Liberal Arts and Sciences. He has a long and varied experience of teaching and research in economics.
Dr. Ajit Kumar Sinha was born on 6th August 1958 at Gaya, Bihar. He did graduation from Magadh University, M.Sc., LLB and PhD from Ranchi University. He started his carrier as scientist in Central Tasar Research and Training Institute, Central Silk Board, Ministry of Textiles, Govt. of India in 1982 and retired as a director in August 2018.
Dec 26, 2016 · Leader of A Revolution in Economic Theory: The Economics of Sraffa. Ajit Sinha received his Ph.D. from SUNY-Buffalo, where he worked with Paul Zarembka on solving the “transformation problem” in Marx’s analysis by studying Sraffa’s theory of price.
Professor Ajit Sinha joined ADRI as its Director on February 8, 2024. Professor Sinha studied Economics at Delhi School of Economics and has a Ph.D. from State University of New York at Buffalo.
