Zoran Milanović ( pronounced [zǒran milǎːnoʋitɕ] ⓘ; [2] born 30 October 1966) is a Croatian politician serving as the president of Croatia since 2020. Prior to assuming the presidency, he was prime minister of Croatia from 2011 to 2016, as well as president of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) from 2007 to 2016.
Later on, he continued his professional career as a consultant. He returned to politics in 2019. He ran for and won the 2019-2020 presidential elections, thus becoming the fifth President of the Republic of Croatia. He has been married to Sanja Musić Milanović since 1994. They have two sons – Ante Jakov and Marko.
