Super Mirage from Brooklyn in the USA are a four piece band, comprising – Nathan Leigh (guitar and vocal), Kyle Jarrow (keyboards and vocal), Drew St. Aubin (drums) and Arvi Sreenivasan (bass). All with a stage background, they are known for their visual performance as well as their music.
The film tells the story of John, a man who suffers from a psychological condition known as body integrity identity disorder in which an individual does not feel "whole" unless he loses one or more major limbs. John leaves his wife and goes to New York City to find a doctor to amputate his arms.
We got along really well and found our musical sensibilities meshed, so we decided to start a band. We brough Arvi Sreenivasan in on bass and our original drummer Josh Tussin and recorded an EP together. Josh left the band after a few months, and we brought in Drew St. Aubin to replace him. The line-up has been solid ever since.

In September 1976, the GSU band performed in the first-ever college football game played in Tokyo, Japan, as Grambling State defeated Morgan State, 42–16. In 1977, the Tiger Marching Band performed in the first Mirage Bowl in Tokyo, Japan.
In 1984, 125 members of the Band performed in the 736-member All American Marching Band at the Opening and Closing Ceremonies of the 1984 Summer Olympic Games in Los Angeles under the direction of Arthur C. Bartner. UCLA Bruin Marching Band Director Gordon Henderson served as an assistant director and Drill Designer and was in charge of the 144-member Trumpet Section.
