Jyoti Prakash Dutta (born 3 October 1949) is an Indian Bollywood film producer, writer and director, best known for making patriotic action war films. Personal life. Dutta is married to the Bollywood film actress Bindiya Goswami with whom he has two daughters Nidhi and Siddhi. [1] Career. Dutta produces his films under the banner of JP Films.
Dutta is best known for his war-related movies. He had to abandon his first film ‘Sarhad’ due to the money factors. His brother, Deepak Dutta, was a squadron leader in the Indian Air Force who died on duty. Dutta’s first film ‘Sarhad’ starring Vinod Khanna, which was not released, was a tribute to him.
