Our research focus is to understand and predict the electronic structure and properties of materials under ambient to extreme conditions of high temperature and pressure using approximate theoretical quantum mechanical calculations and chemical intuition. The properties of interest range from chemical bonds to super-conductivity.
D. L. V. K. Prasad was born in Ongole, Andhra Pradesh in 1980. After schooling, he received his BSc degree from Nagarjuna University; CSRS College. In the year 2000, Prasad moved to the University of Hyderabad to study Masters in Chemistry and later to work with Prof. Jemmis for a PhD in the areas of structural chemistry of boron.
