Arputhan (c. 1971 – 7 November 2023) was an Indian film director, who directed Tamil- and Telugu-language films. He rose to fame through the romantic drama Arputham (2002), and went on to make feature films including the dramas Love Today (2004) and Manathodu Mazhaikalam (2006).
Renowned Tamil filmmaker Arpudhan has tragically passed away after succumbing to a road accident. The sudden demise of the director has left the film fraternity in disbelief, with numerous celebrities and fans extending their heartfelt condolences for his loss.

Nov 7, 2023 · இதுமட்டுமல்லாமல், ஷாம் நடிப்பில் வெளியான 'மனதோடு மழைக்காலம்', தெலுங்கில் உதைக்கிரண் நடித்த 'செப்பவே சிறுகாளி' ஆகிய திரைப்படங்களையும் இவர் இயக்கியுள்ளார். 52 வயதான இயக்குனர் அற்புதன் விபத்து ஏற்பட்டு தனியார் மருத்துவமனையில் சிகிச்சை பெற்றுவந்த நிலையில் நேற்று மாலை 4 மணியளவில் காலமானார். இவரது மறைவு திரைத்துறையில் சோகத்தை ஏற்படுத்தியுள்ளது.
