In late March of 2009, Rod McBrien, one of the principal songwriters and music producers of MTI Studios, passed away. Rod McBrien was a natural born songwriter. When he picked up his guitar and began to write, magic happened.
Rod McBrien was born in 1943. He was a writer and composer, known for The January Man (1989), Club Fed (1990) and After School (1988). He was married to Janet Ralston and Sarah Daly. He died on 30 March 2009.

We were saddened to hear of the sudden death of Rod McBrien on the 27th of January this year. Rod was a very talented designer with whom we worked for the past 20 years on a number of high-level design projects. Rod began his professional career at DCA Design in Warwick where he became an Associate, designing a host of industrial products.
