  1. Shaofei Xu received the B.S. degree in mechanical engineering from the Jiangxi University of Science and Technology, Ganzhou, China, in 2019. He is currently working toward the M.S. degree in mechanical engineering with the Guangdong University of Technology, Guangzhou, China.

  2. This work studies the periapsis shift in the equatorial plane of arbitrary stationary and axisymmetric spacetimes. Two perturbative methods are systematically developed.

  3. Jan 27, 2024 · Shaofei Xu, Junji Jia. The periapsis shift (PS) of spinning test particles in the equatorial plane of arbitrary stationary and axisymmetric spacetime is studied using the post-Newtonian method. The result is expressed as a half-integer power series of M/p where M is the spacetime mass and p is the semilatus rectum.

I am a PhD student at ETH Zurich and University of Tübingen, supervised by Marc Pollefeys and Andreas Geiger. I have broad interests in computer vision, particularly in dense correspondences, motion and 3D scene representation learning. I was very fortunate to work with several amazing supervisors.
