  5. Jun 3, 2014 · When trumpeter/composer Jon Hassell set out to record his 1990 album City: Works of Fiction, he was finally ready to allow himself to let his influences show a little bit.

  6. Jon Hassell has been treading his singular path since the late 70s. His unique style, dubbed “Fourth World”, uses stylistic contrasts to forge a highly visual musical landscape.
