Jayatheertha. Jayathirtha B. V. (born May 8, 1977) is an Indian theater activist, production designer and filmmaker. [1] He is known for his movies Olave Mandara, Tony, Beautiful Manasugalu, and Bell Bottom. He is also known for his work as a director and play writer.
Sri Jayatirtha ( Śrī Jaya-tīrtha ), also known as Teekacharya ( Ṭīkācārya) ( c. 1345 - c. 1388 [5] [6] [7] ), was a Hindu philosopher, dialectician, polemicist and the sixth pontiff of Madhvacharya Peetha from (1365 – 1388).
In token of his admiration of this saintly scholar and genius, Shri Vidyaranya seated Shri JayaTeertha, the pontiff of Shri Uttaradi Matha, with all his memorable works on a decorated elephant and paraded in a grand procession.
