Sildos began her career a film critic for Eesti Rahvusringhääling (Estonian Public Broadcasting). In 1994, she joined Eesti Raadio, where she worked as a senior editor, then programme director until 2000, when she was appointed managing director of the Estonian Film Foundation.
Riina Sildos (sündinud 21. juulil 1964 Tallinnas) on eesti filmiprodutsent. Sildos on lõpetanud 1982. aastal Tallinna 7. Keskkooli . Õppis 1982–1987 Tartu Riiklikus Ülikoolis vene filoloogiat, 1987. aastal kaitses filmisemiootikaalase diplomitöö "Graafiline sõna kaadris ja väljaspool kaadrit" (juhendaja professor Juri Lotman ).
