Vaikom Muhammad Basheer (21 January 1908 – 5 July 1994), popularly referred to as Beypore Sulthan, was an Indian writer of Malayalam literature, a humanist and an Indian independence activist.
ജീവിതരേഖ[തിരുത്തുക] 1908 ജനുവരി 21 [2] ന് തിരുവിതാംകൂറിലെ വൈക്കം താലൂക്കിലുൾപ്പെട്ട തലയോലപ്പറമ്പ്ഗ്രാമത്തിൽ ജനിച്ചു. പിതാവ് കായി അബ്ദുറഹ്മാൻ, മാതാവ് കുഞ്ഞാത്തുമ്മ. ഇവരുടെ ആറുമക്കളിൽ മൂത്തയാളായിരുന്നു ബഷീർ. അബ്ദുൾഖാദർ, പാത്തുമ്മ, ഹനീഫ, ആനുമ്മ, അബൂബക്കർ എന്നിവരായിരുന്നു സഹോദരങ്ങൾ. ഇവരാരും ഇന്നു ജീവിച്ചിരിപ്പില്ല.
