Ο Μάνος (Εμμανουήλ) Χατζιδάκις ( Ξάνθη, 23 Οκτωβρίου 1925 - Αθήνα, 15 Ιουνίου 1994) ήταν κορυφαίος Έλληνας συνθέτης, ποιητής, τραγουδοποιός, μαέστρος και πιανίστας. Θεωρείται ο πρώτος που συνέδεσε μεταπολεμικά, με το θεωρητικό και συνθετικό έργο του, τη λόγια μουσική με τη λαϊκή μουσική παράδοση. [10] .
