Vladimir Petrovich Vajnshtok (Russian: Владимир Петрович Вайншток; 2 March 1908 – 18 October 1978) was a Soviet film director and, under the name Vladimir Vladimirov, screenwriter.
The Headless Horseman (Russian: Всадник без головы, romanized: Vsadnik bez golovy) is a 1973 Soviet-Cuban Red Western film directed by Vladimir Vajnshtok based on the eponymous novel by Thomas Mayne Reid.
Vladimir Vaynshtok was born on 2 March 1908 in St. Petersburg, Russian Empire [now Russia]. He was a writer and director, known for Treasure Island (1938), Yunost komandirov (1940) and Vsadnik bez golovy (1973). He died on 18 October 1978 in Moscow, RSFSR, USSR [now Russia].
