In an uncharacteristic moment of weakness, Sun-woo falls for Hee-Su ( Shin Min-A ), taken in by her grace and humanity. A Bittersweet Life is a beautiful movie that is filled with violence and thrills and I LOVE beautiful movies filled with violence and thrills. The score is great, the cinematography is lovely, and the script is so simple and engaging that I really find it difficult to understand how anyone could avoid getting caught up in this wonderful movie.
