Luke Altmann lives and works in Port Adelaide. Firm composer since 2005. Producer and presenter of weekly programmes for Radio Adelaide from 2000-2013, and for ABC Classic since 2021.
Luke Altmann co-founded weekly new music broadcasts at Radio Adelaide in 2000, with a special emphasis on the work of South Australian composers, which he continued to produce and present until 2012. He currently presents Night Music weekly on ABC Classic.

Luke Altmann is an APRA and AACTA nominated composer. He studied composition with Peter Brideoake at Adelaide University, where he was awarded the Dr. Ruby Davy Prize and the Alex Burnard Scholarship.
