Tracks 1 to 13 originally released as The Soft Machine in 1968. Tracks 14 to 30 originally released as Volume Two in 1969. No info on the re-mastering, but for both albums, there are considerable differences in the Duration of the tracks compared to the original vinyl albums.

The Soft Machine (also titled Volume One as a reissue) is the debut album by the British psychedelic rock band Soft Machine, released in 1968. It is the group's only album to feature Kevin Ayers as a member.
