Garo Mafyan (born 24 February 1951) is a Turkish musician, composer and music producer of Armenian descent. Personal life. He grew up in Erenköy, Istanbul. He is married to Gülyüz (née Bayraktaroğlu) Mafyan, and has a daughter named Damla.

Babası ve annesi birer müzisyen olan Mafyan 3,5 yaşından itibaren piyano eğitimi almaya başlamıştır. 1955 yılında ilk kez sahneye çıkarak bir resital vermiştir.
Garo Mafyan had his signature under about thirty compositions: including the music of television series like; “Samanyolu” (1989), “Duygu Çemberi” (1990), “Hicran Yarası” (2009) as well as the soundtracks of the cinema film ; “Dünyayı Kurtaran Adamın Oğlu” (2006).
