Pushkar–Gayatri are a husband-and-wife filmmaker duo from Chennai, Tamil Nadu. Their works are noted for their unique style, technical finesse, and intricately woven storylines. They started as writers and directors with the Tamil feature films – Oram Po (2007), and Va - Quarter Cutting (2010), both quirky dark comedies.
Gayathri Films was one of the several production companies used by brothers Chitra Lakshmanan and Chithra Ramu as a part of their involvement in Tamil cinema. Notable films made as a part of the studio included Mann Vasanai (1983) and Soora Samhaaram (1988).
