Jean-Marie Benjamin, né le 11 avril 1946 à Salon-de-Provence ( Bouches-du-Rhône) est un compositeur de musique, chef d'orchestre, écrivain, réalisateur et producteur de films français. Fonctionnaire des Nations unies auprès de l' UNICEF de 1983 à 1988, il est ordonné prêtre catholique à Rome en 1991 et milite contre la Guerre d'Irak depuis 1998.
The Rev. Jean-Marie Benjamin (born April 1946 in Salon-de-Provence) is a priest who once worked as an assistant to the Vatican secretary of state and became an activist for lifting Iraq sanctions prior to the 2003 Invasion of Iraq.
Since he made his first record in 1965, Jean-Marie Benjamin published about thirty discs of his compositions, varying from classical music to pop-music and soundtracks. Pianist and guitar-player, he composed a hundred scores, among the official hymn for UNICEF, created in Rome in April 1984.
