P. Samuthirakani (pronounced Samudrakhani, born 26 April 1973) is an Indian actor and film director who works predominantly in Tamil films besides appearing in a number of Telugu and Malayalam films. He worked as an assistant to director K. Balachander, in Paarthale Paravasam.
Samuthirakani is a versatile filmmaker who works in Tamil, Telugu, and Malayalam languages. He has won several awards for his acting and directing, including a National Film Award for Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara and an Oscar for RRR.
