Lakshmana ( Sanskrit: लक्ष्मण, lit. 'the fortunate one', IAST: Lakṣmaṇa ), also known as Laxmana, Saumitra and Ramanuja, is a Hindu god and the younger brother of Rama in the Hindu epic Ramayana. He is considered as an incarnation of Shesha, the lord of serpents. [2] .

Dec 21, 2023 · Lakshman is the younger brother of Lord Rama, and twin brother of Shatrughna according to Hindu mythology. In the classical epic Ramayana, Lakshman is considered to be a component of the manifestation of Lord Vishnu, although some traditions suggest that he is an avatar of Shesha.
