Saul David (June 27, 1921 – June 7, 1996) was an American book editor and film producer. [1] Early life. Born in Springfield, Massachusetts, he won an art competition and received a scholarship to the Rhode Island School of Design, which he attended from 1937 to 1940.
Julian Saul David (born 1966) is a British academic military historian and broadcaster. He is best known for his work on the Indian Rebellion of 1857 and the Anglo-Zulu War, as well as for presenting and appearing in documentaries on British television covering imperial and military themes.
Saul David was born on 27 June 1921 in Springfield, Massachusetts, USA. He was a producer and actor, known for Logan's Run (1976), Fantastic Voyage (1966) and Von Ryan's Express (1965). He died on 7 June 1996 in Culver City, Los Angeles, California, USA.

Out of a shortlist of five authors, David chose Louis L"Amour who had been disillusioned with Fawcett publishing. Career. After graduation he worked at a radio station in York, Pennsylvania and on a newspaper in Portuguese Huron, Michigan.
He was an on-screen expert on BBC2’s virtual battle series Time Commanders (2004) and is a regular contributor to history programmes on all channels. Two of his books – Mutiny at Salerno and Zulu – have been made into documentaries.
