Sandip Ray (born 8 September 1953) is an Indian film director and music director who mainly works in Bengali cinema. He is the only child of the famous Indian director Satyajit Ray and Bijoya Ray. Three of them together will definitely be fun, but it is extremely difficult to write a story like that. To make it look real is a little challenging. To be quite honest, I feel the stories of Tarini Khuro are outstanding, but unfortunately a lot of stories are set outside Bengal. Languages other than Bengali will be involved.

Jun 4, 2024 · Sandip Ray: I have a very good impression of Chennai because we did a lot of shooting and post-production there. It’s a favourite place of mine. Both my father (Satyajit Ray) and I had worked there earlier. We had to shoot Goopy Bagha Phire Elo in Chennai because we needed a tiger and at that time there was no other option than Chennai. Mahabalipuram is a major attraction. In between the shoot, I fell sick and we had to come back in the middle of the schedule.
