The Ultraverse is a defunct comic book imprint published by the American company Malibu Comics which is currently owned by Marvel Comics. The Ultraverse is a shared universe in which a variety of characters – known within the comics as Ultras – acquired super-human abilities.
With the purchase of Malibu, Marvel quickly took over the coloring studio and cancelled all Ultraverse titles. A short time later, with Black September, Marvel relaunched a few of Malibu’s more popular titles, but that didn’t last long either. Not long after the restart, those too were cancelled.
