The National Academy of Legal Studies and Research (NALSAR) was established in 1998 by a Statute of the State of Andhra Pradesh. Since its inception, the University has been home to vital conversations on law and justice.
The Academic community at NALSAR is formed by the core faculty who are working full time at the University, drive the University’s academic policy, lead research and transact courses. In addition, we have eminent scholars who have agreed to be associated with the university as adjunct professors.
The doctoral programme is supported by faculty members with varied subject expertise which include Constitutional law, Corporate Law, Criminal Law, Disability Rights, Environment Law, Humanitarian Laws Legal Theory, Intellectual Property, Infrastructure Law, International Trade and Business Law and Personal laws.
