  2. Drayton Manor High School, formerly Drayton Manor Grammar School, is an academy school located in Hanwell, west London, England. The school was granted academy status in August 2011. Its emblem is a phoenix rising from a crown with the legend 'Nec Aspera Terrent', which means 'hardships do not deter us'.

  3. The majority of Year 11 students at Drayton Manor apply for a place in Year 12 of the Sixth Form. A significant number gain admission. Further information can be found in our Sixth Form prospectus published annually in October in the Sixth Form section.

  4. Drayton Manor High School in West London is a handsome, red-brick building built in the 1930s on the site of Hanwell Park House, land that had been previously owned by the then local historian, Sir Montague Sharpe.

  5. It is over 90 years since Drayton Manor opened in 1930 and we continue to build on the successes of the past to put the school in the best possible position for the next 90 years. Perhaps the fact that we have only our fifth Head of Drayton Manor in all that time says something about the school and how it plans systematically for the future.
