  1. Honestly, you can’t go wrong with either Wall Street Prep or Breaking into Wall Street (BIWS) because they're the two best financial modeling courses on the market, and have been for quite some time now. But if I had to choose, I'd pick Wall Street Prep because the teaching style is just more efficient without filler material.

  2. Mar 20, 2021 · Wall Street prep is very good, but you have to understand how to use it. The videos are way to long and boring. You need to build all the models multiple times, and just refer to the completed example if you get stuck. You have to tell yourself on the fourth or fifth time, stuff will really start to click. There is no shortcut.

  3. Mar 10, 2023 · My Review of the Wall Street Prep FP&A course. I just finished the FP&A Modeling Certification from WSP, and here is my review of it in a couple categories. Tldr; 4.25/5 overall rating, thought it was pretty good. Technical skills: 4.5/5. It teaches Excel well and showcases some useful features that are lesser known.

  5. May 25, 2023 · I took both, the Wall Street Prep and the Corporate Finance Institute "Investment Banking Tracks". The FMVA (the IB track from CFI) covers more finance and accounting material, I'd say it's solid even for FP&A; that being said, if you graduated from a decent finance/accounting program you'll find a big chunk of the course redundant.

  6. Founded by investment bankers, Wall Street Prep’s mission is to bridge the gap between academia and the professional world by equipping finance professionals and students with the practical skills they need to excel in their careers.

  9. Mar 29, 2021 · To me, Wall Street Prep requires you to understand financial accounting (reading financial statements, calculate dupont ratios, basic forecasts), otherwise, you have to buy extra Accounting crash courses from the site). I also heard that many major banks use WSP course for training (I cant verify this). For CFI, I found that FMVA is a pretty ...

  10. Jul 2, 2022 · Breaking In. I am looking to get into a career on Wall Street in Investment Banking, Private Equity or a Hedge Fund.
