Feb 22, 2017 · Here's where I think is gets weird, when I view the file in photoshop there appears to be no background, I see the "transparent background" i.e the grey little squares. I save the image as normal, I don't see an option to remove a background because there isn't one. Next I open the saved file and I see and white background around my image...
To save rendered images with transparent background (PNG format for instance), the settings are as follows for "Cycles" and "Blender Render" rendering engines. Cycles. Properties Editor > Render Context > Output Panel. Choose RGBA so that the alpha from the renderer is saved in the png. Properties Editor > Render Context > Film Panel
Jan 6, 2019 · Hide Background. For viewport you can hide background image in Shading properties by changing World Opacity set to zero. Notes: Works for Eevee and Cycles; HDRi is file format, but important in terms is that background in blender use equirectangular texture type. It doesnt has to be necessarely HDRi that refers to a high dynamic range image.

Aug 12, 2019 · I am tracing a png of a tree, in photoshop I made the background transparant. The png looks like this: When I trace it in Illustrator, the Image trace function makes white/greyish fills of some parts of the background, that in the original png are already transparant. Deleting them manually or with Select > Same Fill Color is too time consuming.

Nov 16, 2019 · Listen carefully. There is a Lossless With Alpha preset in the Output Module of the Render Cue. This will give you an alpha channel. The video will have transparency if the comp has transparency. When you look at the clip in any media player you will see a black background because NO media players will display a transparent background.
