Department of Botany. Learning for acquisition of knowledge and skills for a sustainable society. The Department of Botany was established in 1906, marking the beginning of teaching and research in plant science in the state of Odisha.
The department holds an entrance test every year around May and the qualified candidates are called for an interview. Final selection of the candidates is done based on their performance in entrance and interview. GATE/ NET qualified candidates can apply anytime throughout the year.
