Guru Dutt (born Vasanth Kumar Shivashankar Padukone; 9 July 1925 – 10 October 1964) was an Indian film actor, director, producer, choreographer, and writer. [ 1 ] [ 2 ] [ 3 ] [ 4 ] He is regarded as one of the greatest filmmakers of Indian cinema.
