In addition in Tagalog, hello said at noon is Magandan tanhali.

Apr 20, 2020 · Saying have a good day is more common than have a good afternoon. That's what I would say. However, both are possible. It's more common to just say good afternoon or good evening. And if it's the end of the night, then just goodnight or good night, and that can be one word or two words.

Jul 11, 2007 · The OED offers "... have good xxxx" and "... (God) give you good xxxx" as fuller versions of "Good xxxx" where xxxx is day, even(ing), morrow or night. (Note the absence of a before good.) The definitions don't suggest that the phrases "good xxxx" were not used alone - and the examples listed include a variety of forms, including "God xxxx".
