Nov 30, 2020 · Hello after owning Minecraft for nearly 9 years I finally got shaders. I got continuum shaders and want to max out my fps while still making the game look great. Right now I get around 40 frames not sure exactly what to change to increase this. Also I should not I have an RX580 so running these shaders should absolutely be possible with that ...
We at Continuum decided that the downsides, which affect more areas than just underground, were not worth it. So 2.0 was launched without the workaround even as an option. That being said, reloading the chunks, going up to the surface to make sure the land above is rendered, and then going back down, or setting your game time to night while underground will minimize/temporarily stop the light leaking with 2.0.
Mar 30, 2023 · Ray/Path tracing related settings. (Some shaders have ray tracing features in Java. To reduce performance hits, they come with rendering samples limited, causing grain. Either increasing or disabling these features should fix it at the mercy of performance)
Jan 7, 2021 · first of all, continuum rt isnt done. its not going to look like ptgi just yet. also, it does look the same as the video. second of all, continuum rt does look good. it has the best ray/path tracing of any shader, and looks really close to irl. the only thing thats bad about it is the underwater, but that will be fixed.
