Jan 2, 2024 · The Chevrolet Beat is truly a once-in-a-lifetime vehicle. Nothing like it existed before it came, and nothing as good as it came after it got discontinued. I am not aware of the later versions but at least the initial versions were truly special. My car was in perfect condition till an accident that happened in November 2022.
Jun 4, 2015 · Loses power after 60 kph. Parts replaced include air sensor, air filter, turbo hose, turbo metal hose, wiring harness & fuel pump. No solution yet. 'Check engine' & 'malfunction indicator' lights are on. 7 dealer visits up . Chevrolet / dealer unwilling to check the turbo. This specific issue is seriously concerning.
Re: Chevrolet Beat : Test Drive & Review. Hi, I changed my engine oil to Shell Helix Ultra 5W40 yesterday. Got a sweet deal with the oil filter free at Rs 3900. The engine note is more a muted growl now and much smoother. More visual updates in the pipeline, before I move to Kolkata. stay tuned..
My Beat Petrol is 3.5 years old now. I have had a persistent problem of a drumming/rattling noise coming from underneath the car while going over uneven surfaces. This could be the suspension bushes. GM is currently the fifth largest car exporter from India, contributing to 11% of the country’s exports.
Chevrolet has already started working on the next gen Spark which is the Beat in India. Caught undergoing cold weather testing, the redesigned Spark is heavily camouflaged but it seems that it will have an evolutionary design with a sloping roofline and an upward sweeping beltline.
