Championsofchange.gov.in is a portal that showcases the achievements and best practices of the Aspirational Blocks Programme (ABP), a government initiative that aims to transform the most backward and remote blocks of India. The portal provides data, insights and stories of the blocks that are making progress in various sectors such as health, education, agriculture, water and sanitation. Visit the portal to learn more about the ABP and how it is creating champions of change across the country.
The delta-ranking of Aspirational Districts and the performance of all districts is available on the Champions of Change Dashboard. The Government is committed to raising the living standards of its citizens and ensuring inclusive growth for all – “ Sabka Saath Sabka Vikas aur Sabka Vishwas ”.
The dashboard is designed, developed, and maintained by the Planning Department, Government of Andhra Pradesh. The ranking of districts is dynamic and would reflect the incremental (delta) improvement made month on month. Some of the important data points are being validated by third-party agencies.
Dec 22, 2020 · The Champions of Change (COC) Dashboard was developed by NITI Aayog to monitor district progress and aid in decision making. In our conversation with Rama Kamaraju, Data Scientist at NITI Aayog, we discussed the use of data under the Aspirational Districts Program (ADP) and how the COC Dashboard supports data-driven policy making in India.
