The logo mark has two words. One is the name and the later the qualifier. It is essential that individually they are able to deliver/embody pertinent characteristics and the nuances of the educational environment that is unique.
CEPT University focuses on understanding, designing, planning, constructing and managing human habitats. Its teaching programs aim to build thoughtful professionals and its research programs deepen understanding of human settlements.
Hence, it was decided that a new identity should be created for the University. A logo design competition was held in January 2014 which remained inconclusive as the jury panel did not find any of the entries suitable to be adopted as the new CEPT Identity.
The line elements from the the UNIVERSITY part of the logo lent to abstract and interesting design interpretations.
