REMEMBER that you have to change the light intensity, not the color, otherwise the light will be in a completely different color. 4.
Go into BLS's settings and disable light shafts, they significantly lower framerate. Also from the shader selection screen, set the render quality to as low as possible. Back inside BSL's settings, set your shadow distance to a number 100 from 120.
Aug 4, 2020 · Way better performance AND it looks better! Yeah, that’s my favourite aswell. I like the different versions available, and the fact that there’s an RTX-ish version, which is extremely close to the real RTX, aside from the different colours from different lights. BSL, the only one I found which can be used in the Nether.
Dec 1, 2023 · I'm playing with a friend on a server and wanted to use Distant Horizons with BSL Shaders. I've tried with Forge+Optifine / Fabric + Sodium + Iris / Fabric + Optifabric but none of these combinations lets me enable shaders without loosing the LOD chunks. I've read in some cases and combinations it should be possible.

In the shader screen set "Old Lighting: On", and turn off fog inside the shader options. Dude he's not using Distant Horizon in the video. It's not possible.
Nov 6, 2021 · Just go look up the official page of Create:A&B, you'll find what you're lookimg for. I would also recommend AstraLex shaders. AFAIK they are a fork of BSL, but they have a ton of new neat features, while not taking up more fps than BSL. Fixing them for Above and Beyond should be the same as for BSL too.
Feb 3, 2021 · Again, different shaders offer different results. There are many of them out there: BSL, Sildurs, Comp, SEUS, Kappa, Continuum, Nostalgia, just to name a few. Give them all a try and see what you like. If you like your shaderpack, see if it is offered in a lighter version. Shaders such as Sildurs offer a range of packs from Lite to Extreme-VL.
