Sep 28, 2011 · Anybody know of a good book on Microsoft/Bill Gates? That are written by someone who worked there? I just finished reading 'I'm Feeling Lucky: The Confessions of Google Employee Number 59' and 'The Steve Jobs Way'. I loved the firsthand insight. All of the Microsoft/Bill Gates books I'm seeing are written from 3rd party perspectives.

Feb 1, 2024 · Hello! I am a former gates scholar from 2013. Feel free to ask me anything! My applicant pool was over 54,000, making it the most competitive at the time (I believe the 2014 cycle had over 60,000 applicants). I was able to meet some of the most impressive and ambitious high school students ever after winning the scholarship.
Jun 29, 2020 · What Bill Gates had wasn't just access to computers, it was access to a senior IBM VP through his mom. He also had access to his dad's knowledge of law as a corporate lawyer. Between that is how he made his money, even when his actual technology floundered, he just sued the competition with frivolous lawsuits, and when got big enough just bought out smaller companies after threatening them.
