Vikram Bhatt did the same to Amisha Patel if you guys remember. He isolated her from her family and friends, tried to exploit her financially.
Ameesha does come from a wealthy political family, and was a gold medalist in Economics from Boston University. She even worked as an investment banker for a bit if I recall correctly. Plus she was in many successful movies and probably made good money from those and other endorsements and events, and likely has had gifts showered on her in the heydays (a lot of celebs get gifted stuff, so it's nothing shady).
To this day, my mind is blown that Ameesha Patel attended Tufts University. It is actually a very very difficult school, not only to get into, but even to graduate. It’s not like a USC type school with paid admissions for rich people. I have no idea how she ended up with this D-grade celebrity reputation and shady escort rumors.

And also heard that all these happen through Mr Mahesh (she thanks him for all the events often on insta.) Strangely i could not sight any Mr Mahesh yesterday.
