Mar 19, 2022 · Add to this, the Zana crash guards make the bike an extra 4 kilos heavier. They also come in the way and hit your legs when you're reversing out of the parking lot and when your pillion sits close to you or your pillion is of heavy build. I'm in a huge dilemma, whether to remove these and switch to stock or keep them as is.

Hello BHPians, So I purchased a pre-loved Duke 390 around 2 weeks ago. The bike came with a couple of accessories, one of which is these Zana crash guards. I never liked these crash guards, and I still don't.
Now, coming to your question, do (Zana) crash guards serve their purpose? Well, the answer is both yes and no. Crash guards are primarily for low speed spills, mostly seen in off road riding. There they work just fine.
Apr 20, 2023 · Apr 11 - Ordered a saddle stay for my Interceptor & got this delivered 19-Apr. After 3 hours & 28 minutes, learnt a hard lesson that the side handle of Interceptor has to be removed to accommodate this product. In addition the saddle stay & the rear footrest for pillion (AdvTribe) cannot gel together. Here're the pictures at Suspension end.
Dec 20, 2022 · RE Interceptor 650: Upgraded to LED bulbs & installed a Zana crashguard. Apart from being more robust, the Zana crash guards also come with sliders for increased protection. Got this installed from the Zana outlet at KB itself, and set me back another Rs 3600. BHPian bsenroy recently shared this with other enthusiasts.

Mar 11, 2024 · The Zana handlebar risers had done a bit to ease the overall shoulder and palm fatigue over long distances (which wasn't overly concerning but was useful nonetheless), but the bum and back fatigue was proving to be the Achilles' heel.
