Jul 10, 2022 · VIA was basically just an Electron app. The introduction of webUSB in Chrome allows developers to mostly ditch the desktop wrapper and just use a web page. Security concerns be damned - however as long as you’re always asked by the browser to confirm USB connectivity - it’s about as secure as any app on the Desktop already.
Feb 27, 2022 · Put that key combo into VIA as a macro. If it's a start menu Program: Open the start menu. Right click on the icon, and go to 'More'. Then click on 'Open File Location'. Right click on the icon in that Window and perform the same steps as above. And that's it.

I had a similar problem on my Mac, had to download the VIA file for my Q2 on the keychron site, open VIA with my keyboard unplugged, go to Settings and turn on the Show Design tab option, then go the Design tab, drag and drop the config file, and plug my keyboard again. Apr 5, 2022 · I'd like to create Multi-Key Macros, i.e.: Press Multiple keys to execute one command. As an example : Left WinKey + Left Alt + Right Arrow = End Key. As mentioned by u/kunigit VIAL is a better solution and the guide linked will help you port over from VIA to VIAL. VIAL will have key override in the next version.

It should have the following three files: Open config.h, and look for the following line: Change the number to your desired layer count: If the line is commented (as in starts with '//'), remove the slashes. If the line is not present, just add it at the end.
Oct 8, 2021 · Download VIA (click here to download) based on your system. Connect your keyboard and open VIA. The VIA will pair with your keyboard (Keychron Q1) automately. Select the keymap section, click the key that you want to program and choose the value in the BASIC section that has all the basic keys for the keyboard. The problem is I stuck on step 3
Just received my Keychron Q1 Max keyboard, and I'm loving it! Now I'd love to remap keys using via app, but I have no success. This is the URL: https://usevia.app/ Is this legit? What works. I managed to connect the keyboard via cable, I can authorize the keyboard in Chrome, I can click the "key tester" tab, verything works fine.
