ADMIN MOD. I think I've settled on my favorite line from season 2. The boardroom sketch from episode 6. The way Tim delivers the line, "I almost killed myself, Julie!" absolutely kills me every single time. The voice and the face he makes is just so damn perfect.
After watching this week's episode with Shane Gillis hosting, someone who was (supposed to be) a cast member, I think it's all the more reason they should get Tim Robinson to host. A lot of the sketches feel like the scenarios of someone with a lot of anxiety, then instead of de-escalating then, make it even worse. The characters often attempt to resolve a slightly awkward situation by making it 10x more awkward and the character is so quick to become defensive like they knew what would happen was a possibility

Sep 25, 2022 · SNL is a team sport and Tim Robinson works better as an individual or a lead. Him being just another player when he was a cast member wasnt that great. But if he hosted then he would lead all the sketches and thats where he could really shine. Hes one of those guys that was a meh cast member but could be a really good host.
