Jul 11, 2022 · The Notebook is a bad movie but the book 'The Notebook' is a great love story. I watched the movie when I was 19 and I didnt like it even though I like both Ryan & Rachel as actors. Now after 12 years at 31 I read the book as its one of my wife's favorites. And to be honest I fell in love with the story, Noah and his writing in the book.

The daring work of art is an allegory for the concept of spiritual awakening. This philosophical film examines the prevalent ideologies that are internalized in our culture, and in true post-modern form; the thematic piece tends to raise more questions than answers.
Oct 15, 2023 · Notebook is a movie that has been cherished and rightfully so, as I was completely invested in the ups and downs of the lead couple. The premise of the movie is simple, a couple divided by class navigating through the emotional turmoils. Rachel McAdams and Ryan Gosling are up to the task with portraying the roles.
It was indeed forward and quite a bold decision from Roshan Andrews. I was in 5th grade when the movie was released and had barely any idea about menstruation. But the movie has a scene in the beginning where the boy has to go and buy sanitary pads. I don't think there was a Malayalam movie before Notebook that dealt with it.

May 31, 2020 · The male lead, Ryan Gosling's character, threatens to commit suicide if the female lead, Rachel McAdams's character, doesn't go on a date with him. She had repeatedly denied his advances and was ON A DATE when he threatened to commit suicide IN FRONT OF HER. This is disgusting, and the fact that he is rewarded for his behaviour is sickening.
The movie makes it "okay" because we "know" that they love each other/were meant to be because we're hearing it as a story. But that just isn't how it works in real life, and it is not behaviour that should be encouraged or promoted to young people. Or any people, but especially young people. Reply reply.
Feb 7, 2018 · Two people fall in love, get married, have 3 kids, a gorgeous house, and a happy marriage until one of them develops Alzheimer's in old age and they die literally at the same time in their sleep in each other's arms. That's not a sad movie. That's pretty much the best case scenario of a romantic relationship.
