Welcome to Answers HQ! -Mai. to get rid of being a plant sims do CTRL+SHIFT+C and type in testing cheats on. next type in Sims.remove_all_buffs and you will go back to being normal. This allows the plant moodlet to be removed turning your sim back to normal! Don't have to wait 5 days.
If you don't want the trouble of starting over, I think what you can do is to start the world (putting your sim into a plot of land and start the gameplay), use cheats to turn your sim into a spellcaster, go into CAS, and save the sim to your gallery.
When you switch to control another sim at home to try and bring them back, it just flashes the work symbol. You aren’t able to interact with them at all or bring them home. The only fix is to exit the game completely. Just to open, I cannot find the option to fill out that form that you normally do when posting.

When you've deleted the files, repair the game: open your EA App game library, click Sims 4, and select Manage > Repair. If that doesn't help, select Manage > View properties, which will show you where Sims 4 is installed. Open that location, then the Game folder inside, and delete the Bin folder.

After this new update, I can't enter CAS to make new Sims, change outfits, or plan outfits. I have to completely turn my PC off to get out of the loading screen. My Sims have random negative mood interactions and I can't enter build mode. I can't play the game at all, what a disappointment 😞.
Hero. @Mack232323 Moving the Electronic Arts folder shouldn't be a problem. The game will create a new one, with a new Sims 4 folder inside, if it's able to launch at all.
