  1. Make & receive phone calls. You can make phone calls from the Phone app and other apps or widgets that show your contacts. Wherever you see a phone number, you can usually tap it to dial. You may be able to tap underlined phone numbers in Google Chrome to copy the number to the dialpad.

  2. In the address bar, enter “https://voice.google.com/u/0/calls?a=nc,%2B phonenumber”. Make sure to replace phonenumber with the number you want to call without hyphens. Tips: For example, to call 1-800-555-0111, enter https://voice.google.com/u/0/calls?a=nc,%2B18005550111.

  3. You can use Google Duo to make video or voice calls. All calls are made through your mobile data plan or a WiFi connection. Calls don't use your mobile minutes.

  4. When you receive a call from an unknown number, you can look up the phone number on your Phone app. To check the caller: Open your device's Phone app . Tap Recents unknown number.
