Oct 14, 2016 · There's Unit 1 - formally Arena, which is busy on Monday, Tuesday (cheesy tuesdays) and Thursdays, generally has chart music. It's generally where you might end up on a night out and is alright. There's Timepiece - this is where all the crazy sports socials happen on Wednesday nights, it will be jammed with students.
There are so many cute and weird pubs to go to, like the Last Drop, or Brass Monkey. Cost is off putting though, but Edinburgh overall is a very expensive city. Most clubs in Edinburgh run student nights with cheap promos, Liquid Rooms on a Wed is pretty popular, as are a few places on George Street. The Cowgate is student friendly if a bit dirty!

10. Hello all, Night life on is always great as there is lots to do on campus, including the SU bar, and a night club 'Sub-Zero'. Due to everything being on campus you are never to far of a walk, everyone who goes are students, you always see people you know and drinks are cheap .

I really like covs nightlife. Albeit it isn't as big as some bigger city uni's and the clubs are a little scattered as opposed to being on one long strip. But there's a decent choice We tend to hit Kasbah on a monday and or friday, it plays your normal kind of club music in the main room, and then also has a "rock room", it does fairly cheap drinks and is really busy on these nights.
