As both are due to air new seasons in the US in the coming weeks. Also heard there is a season 2 of The Old Man. Hope that will also come to Disney+.

Ian Marter obviously got on well with Lis and Tom (Tom in particular had a great relationship with Ian), but with a fairly young, big and strong Doctor, a male companion was not needed. Tom and Elisabeth worked so well together, they didn't need a "third wheel".
Aug 7, 2024 · Scottish comedians are hard to beat, imo. RIP Ron Bain. I mainly remember Ron Bain from Naked Video, which had a fabulous cast of comic actors. The sketch I remember him being in particularly, almost 40 years on, was him and Gregor Fisher doing a read-through of a script for a new comedy set in a Japanese POW camp in WWII.
Aug 23, 2020 · Core subjects are setted by ability in the majority of schools, so in most cases yes, there will be a bottom set with all the least able students gathered together. The remedial class wasn't just for the bottom of the class type pupils. It was for a handful of pupils with genuine special needs or learning difficulties.
Goodnight Sweetheart - last episode. Wasn't there an episode in which Gary went to a branch of Swallow's Bank and met the Manager, Mr Mainwaring, and his chief clerk, Mr Wilson, who also happened to be the Captain and Sergeant of the local Home Guard? I remember wincing at the terribly un-Wilson portrayal of the chief clerk.
