Also, despite being the “tiny” warrior, Jason Tobin is actually 5’10”. Tobin would have been taller than an average man in the 19th century. “Warrior” has a tall cast.

May 7, 2021 · I haven't researched the whole cast, but after watching the two seasons, my impression is that Jason Tobin is the only major character who speaks Cantonese fluently on the show. The difference is actually pretty jarring. It's night and day. It's especially clear when Jason Tobin spoke typical swear words from Hong Kong.

We know Young Jun's mom is a prostitute but that doesn't necessarily mean she was a Chinese prostitute. And it would add an additional layer of depth to his inner conflict - being "Chinese" not from China and an American who doesn't belong.
