Gregorio Peces-Barba Martínez (13 January 1938 – 24 July 2012) was a Spanish politician and jurist. He was one of the seven jurists who wrote the Spanish Constitution of 1978, acting as a representative of the Spanish Socialist Workers' Party .
Gregorio Peces-Barba nace en Madrid en 1938. Licenciado en Derecho por la Universidad Complutense de Madrid y en Derecho comparado por la Universidad de Estrasburgo, obtiene su doctorado con una tesis sobre el pensamiento social y político de Jacques Maritain, dirigida por Joaquin Ruiz Giménez y defendida el 29 de abril de 1970.
