  9. Darwin College was founded in 1964 as the first Cambridge college to only admit graduates and to admit both men and women. Today Darwin has over 800 students and admits around 300 new students every year from all around the world and from a variety of subject areas.

  10. Darwin College Student Support Fund. The College has funds to help with financial emergencies that can occur once a student is already in Cambridge. Awards are small, with most ranging from £100 to £1000, and an average award of c. £300.
